Where Has the Summer Gone???

Posted by iateacher on July 26, 2006

Wow! I just looked at the calendar and realized I have to be back at school in a month. I must say though, I’m pretty excited. In my science classes this year we will be trying out a kit-based approach for one unit. (Basically, a kit-based approach means everything we need to do labs and hands on activities is included and ready to go.) If we like this type of thing we may be doing more of them — we are working on adopting a new science curriculum.

I’ve also been purchasing some “accesories” for my classroom that I’m excited about — so I can’t wait to see all of my new students in August —

ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR SUMMER!!

My New Blog

Posted by iateacher on July 19, 2006

Well, I guess I’m stepping into the 21st century! I now have a blog. My plan is to use this blog as a semi-daily (Hmm, is that a word??) update to what is happening in my classroom so that students, parents, and hey – whoever might want to, can check it out! Hope to see you all checking it out come August when school starts back up! Bye for now!
