Why Spelling Is Important

OK, I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t always spell things correctly, but I use spell check and proofread.  Maybe someone should teach the fast food employees…  This picture was taken at a local fast food restaurant where I live.  I think I’ll pass!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

I wanted to take a moment and wish all of my students, parents and guardians, and anyone else who reads my blog a very happy Thanksgiving Holiday!! 

Better yet, if you care to leave a comment and say what you are thankful for I think that might be fun!  I’ll start:   I’m thankful for our freedom and all the vets that fought for it and continue to protect our freedoms.  I am thankful for my family and friend and finally, I am thankful for my students who work hard and try their best!

Response Sheet: Reaching Saturation

Attention Parents and Guardians:

My students will receive the response sheet titled “Reaching Saturation” today.  They should answer both questions IN COMPLETE SENTENCES and make sure they are complete in their answer.  These will be collected tomorrow before the lab.

Thanks for Coming to Conferences

I would like to thank all of the parents/guardians who came to conferences on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  Your support is appreciated.  If you were unable to get in to see me due to my schedule being so full I do apologize.  I am still more than willing to meet with you.  You may e-mail me at school or call me and we can set up a time or even do the conference by phone.  Whatever works best for you.

Periodic Table Assignments

Today students received a periodic table.   This needs to be colored according to the directions they were given.  Then, they have a set of questions that needs to be answered by using the information sheet and and their colored periodic table.

Sheep Eye Lab Sheet Assigned

Attention Parents and Guardians:

All of my students received the sheep eye lab sheet today after our dissection.  They are to answer all the questions completely.  They should have notes that they wrote down during the dissection to help them answer the questions.  This is due tomorrow.
